The kids and I (Dave) took the dog and a sled out to a field near our house yesterday. There wasn't much snow on the ground, so it was slow going at first, but we figured out an alternative source of power to give gravity a little help...
Sam wasn't going to be left out...
Then, Oreo decided that riding might be more fun than pulling...
Much fun was had by all! I think the dog might have had even more fun than the rest of us. We don't expect to get much snow here, so we're trying to make the most of it while we can.

How fun! Just wait 'till she gets bigger and she can pull Dave! Trooper would love to join in the fun - and yes, he sleeps curled up in the girls room, nice and warm and watching over everyone! They LOVE their families and can't bear to be apart.
