Our winter wood delivery came! And, boy was it a big load! They just pulled up and dumped! ...Us city folk know nothin' about hard work... (smile)
After working at the pile for about 20 minutes it became very discouraging to look back and see no discernable changes to the mound! We all agreed this was an appropriate time for our family saying, "Kooz korkup. Kol batar!!" This is a Kazakh saying which means, "Your eyes are afraid, but your hands are strong!" So we pushed past our scared-eyes and dug in with our strong hands! ...a few logs at a time!
In the end, it only took us an hour to move all that wood into our wood shed and stack it. With a little music and a little laughter we all had fun working together.
And, of course, we will all be happy when we can keep warm this winter!

I remember stacking the wood after it was dumped as a kid. And we loved to go get the wood for our parents.
