We decided to plant a plum tree and an apple tree in our yard/garden.
It was a family affair!
Diggin' the hole...
Putting the compost in...
Cover with mulch/wood chips...
Take a much needed swinging break!...
And water...
..
Then, we pray and wait. ...Given our life-style and the reality of our job/moves these past 10 years, we all wondered out-loud if we would still be here to collect the first fruits of our work?? The kids think "yes!". That would be very sweet!
But, we have been learning to put down roots, bloom where we are planted and then trust tomorrow to the Lord! His plans are best.
