Remember

We celebrated "Remembrance Sunday" with the whole town today. The town gathered at the war memorial and we sang hymns, prayed, and had a moment of silence to remember those who have fought for freedom. Wreathes of red poppies were also placed at the foot of the memorial site.

Becka marched with her Girl Guides Troop. She was given the honor of holding the flag!!

Sam marched with his Boys Brigade troop. The red poppies they are wearing on their sweatshirts are a symbol that all people wear on this day to remember those who have died in conflicts or war.
