Roaming the Fields

From flowers to sheep... new life is springing up all over our rolling hills!
There are 11 million sheep and 3 million people in Wales. We have some new additions to that 11 million on the fields around our village.


Most fields around our town are under a "freedom to roam" law. Simply put, you can roam freely.



These are the "kissing gates" used to get from one field to another. Or....

Or to enter the next field or hedge row you go up and over the stiles. I always chuckle thinking of the Jane Austen-type ladies doing this in their long skirts. They did! We wear jeans and "wellies".
